Content Lead - Position Opening

Youth Leadership Academy Australia (YLAA) is pumped to have opened applications for content creators to join our 2022 tour as the ‘Content Lead’. Annually YLAA travels nationally hosting world-class conferences for both primary and secondary students, in 2022 we will be travelling to the following cities:

• Melbourne: February  28 & March 1
• Sydney: March 3 & March 4
• Brisbane: March 7 & March 8
• Adelaide: March 10 & March 11
• Perth: March 14 & March 15
  

As the ‘Content Lead’ you will be responsible for the following:

• Capturing photos & videos at each event
• Edit photos ready for publishing
• Capturing testimonials from both students and teachers during breaks 
• Uploading videos into google drive daily for TikTok daily vlogs

Note: you are not creating the daily vlogs instead we will outsource these to someone, not travelling / a freelancer we agree upon having the skills required

• Creating post-tour content including:

Highlight video for both primary and secondary events

Cleaning testimonial videos with intro/outro slides for publishing

• Organise video and photo content for speakers, facilitators and staff into folders

About you…

As the team will be spending three weeks living with each other we are seeking someone not only for their calibre of skills but for their ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team. Tour is an intense and rewarding experience and for it to go smoothly it requires cooperation from each team member to play their part. 

• The ideal candidate must have an interest in and understand the importance of the work that YLAA does 
• The ideal candidate must have event photography AND videography experience
• The ideal candidate must be able to work autonomously and there be no requirement for management
• The ideal candidate must be able to understand and respect boundaries
• The ideal candidate must have a working with children’s check / blue card equivalent 
• Due to the nature of the large scale events and travel requirements, the ideal candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 1st February 2022

Remuneration

• In the application process, you will be asked to provide a proposal with your fees, ensure these fees are all-inclusive of working away from home allowance, preparation, onsite photography and delivery
• Al meals, travel and accommodation will be provided inclusive of return flights to and from your original destination
