Cooper Chapman is a mental health educator, speaker, and the founder of The Good Human Factory. Prior to this, he spent over a decade as a professional surfer, achieving a global top‑100 ranking and representing Australia in surfing events.

Inspired by deeply personal experiences with mental health struggles in his family and community, Cooper launched The Good Human Factory in 2020 after his sister lost two friends to suicide during her final year of high school, and also losing an uncle to suicide.

Under his leadership, The Good Human Factory delivers mental health workshops, keynotes, and community programs across schools, corporates, and public audiences. Cooper blends storytelling, science-backed tools, and a performance mindset drawn from his surfing career to help people build mental resilience and adopt daily wellbeing habits.

He speaks internationally on topics of mental health, gratitude, mindfulness, empathy, responsibility, and kindness. Cooper also hosts The Good Humans Podcast, and has just published his first book offering a practical roadmap for everyday mental wellbeing called "The 1% Good Club".

Cooper is committed to making mental health accessible, practical, and “cool,” shifting the cultural narrative to care for mental wellbeing daily, not only in crisis moments.
