Siobhan Wilson is a young entrepreneur and author who created Our Pixie Friends to help children feel less alone when facing life’s challenges. Drawing on her own experiences with medical needs and feeling excluded, she began developing the idea when she was six years old.
Through Our Pixie Friends, Siobhan has created children’s picture books, resources and pixie characters that explore kindness, friendship and inclusion. Her stories help young readers see that others may share similar experiences, while encouraging understanding of children whose lives or needs may be different from their own.
Siobhan has published four children’s books and shares her work through readings, workshops and presentations for children, educators and other professionals. Her books address experiences including asthma and allergies, using stories to open conversations about health, belonging and supporting others.
Alongside her writing, Siobhan has donated gift packs and resources to children, schools and hospitals. Our Pixie Friends also contributes a portion of its sales to medical research.
Siobhan’s work has been recognised through the Redlands Coast Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, where she received Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2022. She was also a finalist in the 2023 Westfield Local Heroes program and the 2025 PeakCare Young Change Maker Award.
Through storytelling and community involvement, Siobhan continues to use her experiences to advocate for children to feel included, respected and understood.
