Redefining Leadership is a whole-year-level secondary leadership workshop that challenges traditional notions of leadership, shifting the focus from leadership as ego to leadership as a practice of service and as a mindset for personal growth. Students are guided to understand their leadership potential by first understanding that leadership is a personal mindset - of ownership, accountability, resilience and commitment to the service of others. The workshop then helps students explore their potential to step up as change agents in their communities, supporting them to take action and create meaningful change in their schools.
Leadership Academy is a senior school leadership program for prefects and captains that tackles the challenges, burdens and insecurities students feel can hold them back in the transition to adulthood. We equip students with self-awareness and strategies for building resilience, confidence and adaptability, helping them cope with adversity and thrive through these challenging years. We work with students to develop a positive, action-focused mindset that empowers them to set and achieve their goals through research-backed strategies, and to foster stronger relationships, classrooms and communities through values-based leadership.
This workshop provides primary school students with the opportunity to explore and discover their role as leaders in society, through an experiential, learner-centred approach. This workshop works to engage students in their learning emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically, to build stronger, more resilient young people as they prepare step into their roles as young adults and leaders.
